2012 C63 AMG Coupe Headlight Swap
So I ordered my new ride, got her about two weeks ago. I had ordered the lighting package and was later informed that the C63's and ML's no longer had the package available due to some BS in Japan with one of the factories being damaged during the Tsunami. This all seemed like a bunch of crap, but nonetheless I am driving around with non Bi-Xenon Headlights...
Does anyone know any way I can get my hands on the Bi-Xenon Housings?

I don't believe it's possible at the moment. My car was initially delivered to me without the lighting package but I refused to take it that way. So i'm waiting for the next car to come in because i believe the headlights are tied into the harness, can't be swapped out.

Any bulb recommendations? I tried LED's but they are useless. Light Output is horrible.. and I feel like an HID kit in a housing w/o Projectors is just retarded... I tried Sylvania Ultrastars.. but they arent even close to a clear white color.. Does anyone know if the Sedan Housing is the same as the Coup? I see Sedans with Projectors...

Is there any way that you can trade-in the car and get a new one with everything you want?
I mean the cost of swapping the headlights (not even sure that it's possible) would be around 6k (just guessing).. If you trade-in the car and get a new one with the specs you want, how much money would you lose ?
Because whatever aftermarket kit you gonna install is not going to look right. The OEM headlights have also LED not just the Bi-Xenon. They also have the small letter C that goes on. (Sorry, having hard time expressing my thoughts, my english is very bad)

Trading in the vehicle would not do me any good. Mercedes told me the package wont be available anytime soon. I had two options, Cancel the order and wait till god knows when.. or take the car with the stock lights and have them shave a couple hundred dollars off for the inconvenience... so i went with the 2nd option... (I regret it now)

I'm in the same boat as you. Why MB would sell an AMG without bixenon lights boggles the mind. There's a member here trying to retrofit the lights but couldn't get it to work properly, so I don't think it'll be an easy swap.
It would be nice to trade it in for another with the bixenon, but I don't want to deal with the hassle. There might be a retrofit option in the next year or so. The car's still too new for the aftermarket segment.

That sucks, your car looks great by the way. The interior is pure sex with the two tone. I am surprised that they didn't use projector headlights for the non lighting package headlights. I compromised with my 2011 since it did not have the lighting package, but luckily it has projectors. I just had the housings painted black by a fellow forum member. He did a great job and the headlights look much more agressive than before.
Hope you can find a solution.
