In the last few months i've met a few people with the same passion for cars that i suffer from. These guys arrange track days so i figured i'd join them.
The track is in Finland, called Alastaro circuit. It's about 3 km long so not that much but it was a lot of fun The track was wet which of course made it a bit more challenging, but there were a lot of nice cars there. 2 GT3 RS, 1 GT-R, 2 ferrari 360 modenas, many many more porsches...i was the only representative for MB. Anyway, here is the in-car video. Bear in mind that this was my first time ever on a track so don't bash my driving

Looks like you had a couple of slides that you controlled well. You look pretty comfortable given it is your first time out.

Nice video Jycke!! Love the sounds of ur car at high rpm. U do look comfortable for the first timer.. Great job!

Btw, are u on ur oem wheels or HRE for the track?

that was great ,,,I tried to see around your mirror, out the windshield but you it was blocked, what i did see was great driving. do it again, show us more videos, thanks jim

Nothing special, just had the car in s+ mode as i found it better suited for track use than the paddles.

Just curious, what camera were you using and where did you mount it?

GoPro motorsport edition Hero 2, and mounted it on my sunroof.

I don't understand why they don't bring it there. But at least the e63 wagon handles better than the sedan. I wonder if the same goes for the c wagon.....

The estate exhaust must sound even louder inside, since you don't have a wall blocking the boot area like in the saloon. To get this sound I usually have to fold the rear seats down!

The estate does sound more inside compared to the sedan, but this was taken via a microphone just above the exhaust tips.
