facelift steering wheel on 2010 C63
Hi everyone
Just got a phone call from the dealer saying that the new steering wheel that I wanna install is working fine (all buttons), except for the button illumination and the shifting paddles . The button issue I know about it (which should be fixed by the new column) but the paddels issue is still a mystery even for the dealership.
I'll post some pix of it tonight, anyone came across this? your advice is much appreciated .
cheers

the quality of the steering is superb . The CF texture is perfect. I really recommend this seller. I'm not sure where they are based.

Holy crap!! $1,700 for a steering wheel is NUTS! You are a baller for sure.
OK... sticker shock has subsided... GORGEOUS! I really like it. It looks thicker than the face lifted steering wheel. Do they install the CF and Alcantara over an existing wheel which, in turn, makes it thicker? Might just be how it looks in pictures too. I like a meaty wheel.

yes they wrap the CF & alcantara over the existing trim, that what it makes it thicker than the OEM.

An update regarding my paddle issue:
I went to DCT motorsports and Ivan gave me a big help and sort this issue out
While examining my paddles and the other working paddles that DCT motorsport have, we found that my paddles (in Carbon Fiber) have different part number than the working one. CF paddles were the type for 2008-2011 steering wheels, so it has different wire termination than the paddles (silver) for 2012 steering wheel. The paddles has two cables (yellow and black), and the difference between the two models was they were in opposite side.
So we flipped the termination (black to yellow, and yellow to black), and it worked perfectly (what it's in the photo is the right termination).
Long story short, if the paddles were from the older model (2008-2011) and will be connected to 2012 steering wheel, the termination of the paddles cable need to be changed/flipped.
Big thanx to Ivan from DCT motorsports for his talent and help.

I didn't install the column. It would sort the issue I guess. But if you have time and the right tools, you could play around with the wires until you find the right pin for the lighting. No need for column then.
Unfortunately I didn't find a wiring diagram, it would definitely help.

There are 4 different column's from w212 you have to choose from:
- without cruise control, without Memory: A212 900 7703
- without c c, with Memory: A212 900 8103
- with c c, without Memory: A212 900 7502
- with c c, with Memory: A212 900 7702
All parts for sedan, not estate!
Estate has different parts cause of the back wiper.
