Wait for winter to buy a C63??
Hi Guys,
I am in the market for a c63 and was wondering if i should wait until winter to buy one. I thinking the demand will be less on them and they should maybe be 2-3 thousand cheaper right? What do you guys think. thanks

I'd disagree in my opinion.
it is likely but if you look hard you'll find one that matches how much you want to spend with what's being asked (within reason ).
my dealer was able to negotiate down a bit for what I was wanting to spend.

my wife bananas! :D
I personally dont understand the reasoning in waiting if it is within your budget now. If it was out of your budget then yes, definitely wait. But if you can afford the C63 you want now, go get it. Waiting for cars is like trying to keep up with the latest computer or the latest TV... just buy the one you are happy with now and enjoy it

Couple of 1000 is only about $30 a month with interest rates as low as they are anyhow.

Your trying to save a few $1k but the real issue is the car is at the end of its product cycle. When the new one comes out the old model will drop like a rock. If you really want one better to buy now and enjoy it, either way its going to lose a lot of value in the next 1 1/2.

2012's will be around for a long time. I just bought a brand new 2011 a couple weeks ago and at that time there was still 3-5 new one's left. Day I bought mine big discounts were put in place but that's shows you how long leftovers linger.
Mine was fully optioned minus carbon fiber and there was a second one with much less options. Point is you will probably be able to find one with the options you want as well.

I think any time is a good time to buy, but at the end of the year you can always find incentive of older model years, and the newer years would already be well into production, so you can get some good discounts as well (I got 8% off mrsp on my 2012 in january).
right now you can probably find some decent discounts on a 2012, and like others have said more choice. I think the best time to buy is when you are ready.

Generally speaking, buying anything at the end of a cycle is ideal, quarter or year. This is more true with cars, however, picking will only dwindle even more. It depends on how much you're willing to pay to get the EXACT car you want. However, if you wait until winter, you're going to lose out on driving time

You might not have much to choose from in terms of color choice if you wait for the end of the year. You will definitely get a good deal on the left-overs but they are left overs for a reason. The options or color combinations were probably unattractive to many buyers so that might be a sacrifice you will have to make. In terms of color get whatever suits your taste because it's highly subjective.

Thats because the 2011 was the last of the old design. Not going to be the case with the 2012's but ya never know.

Out all every dealer in NY there are 2 2012 C63's available. Both 72K and only coupes. After that the next closest one is in NJ and its also 72K and a coupe.
There really is very little out there. The 2012's sold very well.
