Retractable Spoiler for C63s

Was wondering why no tuning company has done this, some might think it's tacky, but i like the idea of a retractable, trunk integrated spoiler like on the SLS, RS5, R8 and many other cars. An aftermarket company that retrofits these designs onto stock trunks and does swap type of thing, the same thing many companies do with steering wheels. Any Ideas ?? what do you guys think ??

Completely useless and no company will invest their money to develop something like this for handful of C-class owners. With right amount of money, it can be done though..

It's cool and it's functional for cars like Veyron and SLR... However, for C63, it may be overkill.. Develop something like this with sensor and all will cost way more than 10K for a little performance gain if any.

It would be very pricey prob (1,500-2,500) your looking at a whole new trunk plus whatever it takes to fab up that part

Make it pop up at 88MHP LOL

The C63 doesn't need the extra weight something like this would add. It is enough of a porky pig as it is . Besides, unless you are on the autobahn, the extra downforce would be rarely needed beyond the existing lip.

Maybe put one of those bolt on wings you see on Civics

Yeah like that

Now that I think of it, the BS kind of has a wing like you see on some Civics too. Maybe it isn't as bad as I thought

my wife bananas! :D
^ man that C63 in the vid.... big wing while leaving the trunk spoiler lip on. Pick one or the other, not both

to OP. I actually wouldnt mind a retractable spoiler if done right. It does add weight to an undesirable spot, would reduce trunk space and would be pricey but I think it might look pretty nice.

Not crazy about that Boeing wing. But hey, if it makes him smile then more power to him. As one gent said it best on this forum
"Enjoy it in good health"

Go for the BS with track (or is it aero?) package
I suppose it should be possible to order one as a spare part and install it as well
