82km wich is about 51,000 miles on my 09. These engines will go really far as long as you treat them right. I plan on keeping mine for a very long time.

I just had this conversation with my wife.. considering the problems I have had, (just had both fuel pumps replaced, as well as the fuel rail, fuel pressure sensors, the command rotary knob, the rear sunshade all in the last repair job, all under warranty fortunately), we talked about me getting rid of the car when the CPO warranty is out, around 25k miles or Nov 2014, because there is no way in hell I can afford to keep the car if it breaks outside of the warranty.
It makes me sad because there is no way I can afford another AMG now with a child in the picture (even after just only 4 months, almost 5, he has cost me half of what I paid for my car in doctors/childcare/baby crap...)

I'm at around 105k miles now.. no major issues since my last post..
Except the dreaded P0410 secondary air injection failure.. I have cleaned and replaced so many parts.. about all I have left are the cats... I'm kinda afraid as my emissions are due mid May

I was just standing in the garage one evening staring at the car. Suddenly it hit me that its just a C Class. I was treating this C Class like a Mclaren. It just felt pathetic. Immediately I got over it and started enjoying the car more. I was driving it only weekends now I am finding excuses to drive it all the time...
It really puts it into perspective when you go out and you see 458s and Lambos parked in front of restaurants in between camrys and mazdas...
