145km is impressive on the '08, any major issues to report that may be prevented?

Are you guys saying the C63 is not good for much more than 100k miles?

I live in the UAE and have seen some high mileage C63s (130-140k kms) but I have seen some CLS63s, CL63s and E63s with 180-200k kms on them.

Thanks

I have the car since December 2008. Since then:
I had my rear suspension replaced under warranty twice.
My mirrors were squeeching like crazy for the first 50k km.
My clutch died at 80'000km - replaced under warranty.
My DVD player does not work. (CDs work)
My automatic trunk lock does not close properly.
The keyless go on the rear left door does not work.
At 125k km my steering column was replaced, which is a quite common issue from what I've seen on MBWorld (https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...preciated.html)

There is clutch packs in the tranny. They will eventually wear out.

Very true.. That's why I'm on the fence about the ELW considering I drive my car roughly 3000km a year. Lol

P.S Guilty, be nice with my garage queen! Lol

With a 130K EL Warranty, it should last 131K.
Its an expensive engine to rebuild.
Best to have an ELW.
My ELW already paid for itself and Im still under original coverage.

That's a fair amount of stuff to have to fix. Do you think that might have to do with it being a first year car (lots of the electrical stuff)?

Also, are those clutch packs a common problem at only 80000 km's? how much is that job?
