Res Delete + Straight Pipes emissions concern

got the res deleted and straight pipes replacing it. by deleting the res will it cause the car to fail emissions etc?

i know cat deletes cause such but was just curious about res delete.

thanks guys. btw the exhaust sounds much more aggressive. i recommend anyone with stock exhaust to do the res delete mod.

As long as the primary cats are in place and you've don't go crazy with a tune you should be able to pass the emission test. If your in Cali you are subject to a visual inspection but none of the smog test stations do it.

The res is not an emission piece, it just reduces the sound.
