iPhone iOS 6.1 bluetooth problem
I just upgraded my 4S to 6.1 and now my car doesn't recognize the phone. I worked perfectly before upgraded. The car immediately connected whenever i on the bluetooth. My car is 09. Does anyone have the same problem? Any solution? Thank you.

you need to set a 'key' that will make your MB recognize the phone (and/or vice-versa).. i forgot how i setup mine.. i think you need to set the key in your phone then enter that key to your MB BT

The problem is the car can't even find my phone. It's like as if the phone is Bluetooth off. So I can't pair it

I had similar issues except reversed when I got my car (2013). I had a Samsung Galaxy S2 and it would link to my BT, but the phone would reset after about 10 minutes. I tried everything and nothing worked. Finally, I gave up and got a Samsung Galaxy S3. It now works perfectly.
I am 99% sure the problem was the phones older version of BT (there are many different versions of BT). So for you, it may be the same problem...a new version of BT on your phone vs an older BT on your car. Before taking any drastic measure, just be sure your phone has the "visible to outside devices" option checked off before you attempt to link them together, or else the car will never see your phone. Of course once they are linked and you put in the PW and all that, car/phone will forever be linked and everytime you get in, it will recognize it without you having to press anything. If that doesn't work, maybe see if you can get updated software from MB somehow (or look into getting an older version of BT on your phone if it is possible).
