My 507: clean, pristine, and how I wanted it!!!
This is how I envisioned my 507. All white and black (chrome and amber delete coming). NO acceleration lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you guys enjoy!! First impressions:
I love so much more then my 2010 C63. The layout, the instrument panel, the exhaust note, almost everything. But most of all, the steering wheel is unbelievable. Not only is it full Alcantara, but it it really thick. It is just bounds above my previous C63. The Alcantara inserts and seats are lovely as well. There is much more to come as I have some CF parts, as well as a trip to Eurocharged. And lying in wait: Eurocharged V4 tune, Quaife LSD, catch-can, and most of all Kleeman long tube headers. I could sleep in the car it is so plush, but after the mods.........................GOOD LORD!!!!

I actually like the acceleration lines, but still looks good without.
Interesting comment on the exhaust note - its different to the 2010? Is that due to it being a 507 or just because its a later model?
Also, V4 tune. Is there any expectation of improvement with this? I would have thought that AMG extracted the last drop to get to 507? Regardless, would love to see your "before" dyno results to see what a 507 really puts out at the wheels.
Looking forward to all your updates as the mods get applied.

Congrats Jordan!
I think you and I have the same taste: All black and white!
Can't wait to see the results with some CF pieces on.

Thanks
Double thanks
Interior shots coming today
Of course. The side markers will be GONE!!
Well, I've noticed many people like the "acceleration lines" as well. I, however, did not. I think the exhaust note is 2 fold. 1, it's a newer model, but 2. I think it actually DOES have something to do with it being the 507. Not sure about much gain with the V4 tune, it will just adjust the shift points. The car will react to gear changes more quickly and will approach higher RPM.
It will be Dyno'ed: stock, with tune, tune with headers, then just with headers
Thanks man. I love it without the "acceleration lines."

Meng, couldn't agree more. Can't even believe MB did those "acceleration lines." I guess it was to show that it was a different car. Either way. Looks soooooo much better without. Clean and sharp. (I'm very happy to have not found an ISF){no disrespect to those owners}
It is unbelievable!! You can catch some on Youtube, but the vids do it no justice. Much louder and has much more of a growl than even my 2010 C63. Either MB did something, or it's just a pure condition of the engine.

And that was really smart thinking on your part, since it would probably be a pain in the @$$/damage paint if you got it done later.

My salesperson asked about the lugbolts if I wanted them chrome, what do you guys think? I think it might work well with the shiny MB emblem ring on the wheel.

Chrome lugs always work well with any wheels, especially on our cars filled with chrome bits. I would definitely try it out. It will pop nicely with the centercaps & polished edges for sure.
