Temperature Sensor Calibration
Guys,
My 2010 C is having issues with the temperature sensor (exterior) reading exactly 6 degree's higher than actual temperature every. single. day. It drives me crazy. Is there a way to calibrate the sensor or something in the menu? I took it in to get replaced when doing my B0 service but it doesn't seemed to have been done/it didn't fix anything. I know the sensor is right in front of the motor bay but that shouldn't have any bearing on it when I'm driving for like 30 minutes to/from work on the highway.
Thanks,
Eric

mine was reading at least 10 degrees too high. dealer replaced the sensor last fall. a couple weeks ago, it was high again, but this time by maybe 5-6 degrees. dealer tech said its was "normal" and that it isn't an exact measurement, but instead an average of temps, whatever that means. my car has so many niggling issues I've decided to just eff it as long as none of them are safety or performance related.

Make sure it is still sticking through the bumper. If it gets pushed back and drops behind the bumper it will read high due to engine heat trapped behind there.
