Suvneer Carlsson Replica Lip is on!
Finally got my Carlsson Replica Lip painted and installed. Center bottom lip was painted matte black, main lip painted to match the body. I absolutely love the look. Only problem is that I need to enter my driveway at a pretty difficult angle to prevent scrape. Looks very aggressive and the fitment is very good (not perfect) but I'm very happy with it. Many thanks to Gary and many thanks to Clark Kent for giving me good advice about installation and fitment.

I have had that same type of lip, twice on two different cars as a matter of fact. I have always thought that it looked so aggressive. From experience be very careful, as you stated already, with driveways, dips, things in the road, and parking stops. Not sure if you have springs or are lowered, but all the more reason to take your time and be extra careful. If you are not lowered, I do NOT recommend that you do. But if you want springs or coils, I strongly suggest that you remove it.
Other than that, enjoy because it looks great!!!!! Mine was CF, but the body color match looks like it was meant to be there.

looks awesome. I love that lip. I was wanting that one for a while, but I can't deal with the bottoming out. I had the "snow plow" lip and that thing scraped on my driveway every single time no matter what. it eventually cracked, so I removed it.

Thanks for the kind words and the advice. Yeah, I need to be very careful with this lip. I'm on stock suspension and can't imagine lowering. The main issue isn't that it's that much lower than the stock bumper. The problem is that the front sticks out and makes the "overhang" longer in the front. I'm hoping if I ever scrape it, it will be the black piece, which is easy to remove and respray myself if I need to.

That looks superb. Great idea on the two tone. Since I had mine installed I rarely park nose in anymore. So far I haven't had any street scrapes nor any issues at HPDE sessions. Hope the best for you too!
