Price on leftover 2013 C63's
Anyone in negotiations for any leftover 2013 models? Wondering if any good discounts or trunk money offered. I've seen some e-quoted of around $10k off, but wondering if I can do much better now that every dealer seems to have the 2014 cars already in stock.
Thanks

Nice deal. I actually talked to one of the California dealers which had several C63s in stock and they told me they could not sell me a car out of state. Sounded absurd.

Which dealer? Try another one. Cali dealers are probably your best bet.

That's weird for sure. I know people from other states who have bought cars in CA because of the lower prices and then just drove it back. Look into your state laws or DMV regarding registering a new car bought out of state.
13K off MSRP seems like a reasonable discount. The most I've heard being discounted on a C63 was 20K I believe. He's a member on MBWorld and bought a leftover 2011 model in 2012 and the car also had P31.

I wanted to follow-up on your inquiry about the C63 we have in stock due to requirement from MBUSA we cannot ship the car to you.
I think the sales guy also said something about it being a regional thing -- like they can't sell/ship into other dealer regions.

This is true. You can buy a car out of state with the right approach, but generally if you just call a CA dealer from TX or something and say hey I want this car on the lot, ship it to me, they will say go speak to your local dealer.

A lot of times dealers will have to trade cars with another dealer. The dealer buys/orders the cars from Mercedes then sells them. Kind of like going to Burger King to order a Big Mac, not exactly, but you get my point. The dealer may not be able to ship it to you, but you may be able to pay a transport company yourself to ship it. Not sure, but worth a shot to ask.
If you want a vacation you can always go there and pick it up and drive it back.

I wish we were that lucky in Canada, dealerships here hardly have C63 on the lot.. And when they do, the discounts are nowhere near the 10k$

I got $11k off on mine right when the 2014's started hitting the showroom floors. Though I really felt like I had to work the dealer hard to get him to that price.

I reached out to 2 dealers today. There are some pretty good discounts on 2014 cars, so anything less than 10k isn't really worth it for the older year model. Especially if some people I see getting a few thousand off 507 editions.

Also to note - the 2014's are likely going to sell for dirt cheap when the 2015 info starts to leak and the leftovers start to sit, if there is inventory. May be worth a roll of the dice.
