code error

Hello , in need of help! I have a 2009 c63 and and today it started running rough shaking like it wants to stall bad with the check engine light turning on so I race it home pull the codes and got 7E8 Engine and 7E9 a/t what would theses be at fault?

What reader are you using?
These are not OBDII codes as they usually start like P1234.
Did you get them when connecting the reader?
I think it's asking you to choose between engine module and transmission module to start scanning for a problem. So next time you use it select engine and see what code it throws (if your CEL is still on).

I have a maxiscan OBDII , so I rescanned and it just put on the screen (random /multiple cylinder misfire detected ) it did not read p123 or something on those lines does that sound correct at all?

sorry here are all codes PO305, P0017,P0303,P0302,P0304,P0301,P0300 and would it be ok to drive the car in or should I get a tow?

That is a lot of codes! Misfire cylinder 1 to 5 (P0301 to P0305). P0017 relates to the crank/camshaft position.
I would suggest you to take it to the dealership. You still can drive the car if it starts. You will only loose performance out of the engine.
