CF Drive Shafts wont give you any real gains on its own from weight reduction. Maybe a 5hp if that?
CF DS's are really meant for motorsports & drag racing if you have a tremendous amount of torque so you don't snap your OEM DS off the line. They also have a slight "spring" effect off the line when drag racing.
Unless your putting down 1.4x 60 fts and have a crazy amount of power off the line where your going to break your OEM DS... there is nothing to gain in the real world.

im considering this but not sure its worth the money as it $3K on weistec's site. Not sure there are enough benefits to having it. . . . but I do have the stage 3 blower and built tranny from weistec now so maybe it would be worth it.....

Id love to know the weight of the stock unit and the weight of the cf unit. I know some platforms get decent gains from the loss of rotational mass directly on the driveline. I'm sure there's a reason AMG thought it was a good idea to do a cf driveshaft on the SLS black series. Might be something to look at even for N/A guys that want every last hp. My bro in law wanted to get it for his g35 and showed me some decent gains they made and also the subjective feeling of better response and "revving more freely" whatever that means
