That picture is the uncoated one?
Do you have any picture of the black anodized model?
How much for shipping to 70726?

just a heads up guys. for the 2010.5' and up your car takes the newer blue transmission fluid which is currently on back order in the usa. So if you buy pan, then put off installing it for a couple of weeks minimum.

mercedes says it forward compatible but not backwards. So if you have red, you can go blue but never back to red again. If you have blue you are stuck with blue for ever. You'll know what fluid it came with by looking at the transmission pan. If you have deep dimples rather than small ones in the pan. Also the fill tube is green not that almond/off white color which is also a different size. I'll try and post some pics to further explain what i'm talking about once i get some.

Most of the transmission services on the blue changed the interval to 60k, rather than the 39k red. it's considered ultra low friction fluid. Long term i have no idea if there is any advantage, it is a dollar or two more than the red also. Most transmission issues i see aren't clutch pack issues. Usually the speed sensor on the contact plate/module on top of the valvebody or the valve body itself- be it getting clogged or just sticking internals. Benz doesn't let us take valve bodies apart or provide any information on the internals so no idea what actually fails. In very rare circumstances and only high mileage vehicles do i see actual real issues with clutch packs/frictions/apply pistons/ravigneaux gear sets. Even rarer are amg tranny issues or seeing modded amgs. The first 7 speeds back in 04 did have some snap-ring and clearnace problems but they've been ironed out since about 06. Im interested to see how mine holds up being stage 2, i definately feel the trans either slips at times shifting into 3rd or torque management/protection wont allow it to engage. I'll be sending the valve body off to weistec soon for the upgrade which should help pro-long its life. I did a service on mine not to long ago, and the amount of crap on the magnets was suprisingly normal. I went ahead and threw some extra magnets in there for good measure though

unfortunately we cant go cheaper. The filter gasket kit, bolts and material for this kit is more expensive. The pan is bigger then the .6. Also in the .6 you don't need to replace the bolts after use. The .9 have stretch bolts and are designed for a one time use.
Yes the one in the picture is a raw example. We have a few in coating and will update with pictures later this week.
$740 shipped anodized with your color preference.

Good write up. These transmissions are very well designed. For normal use one can say they are perfect, but after years of customers complaining about over heating issues via at tracks or spirited driving, we've opted to help in aiding with that problem.

Update
we received the mct pan a few days ago a went thru all the dimensions and differences between them. Basically the fill tube is shorter due to the fact that mct trans don't have torque convertors. Also the pan has little nipples on the side for mounting o2 sensors and harness. We will compensate all of those differences with a cnced tube for mct's only and include mounting brackets that will have extended shelves to mount/zip tie existing wiring and o2 sensors. We are currently making one on the machine and will have them available next week for all MCT transmissions.

You said, "Little nipples"
Sorry, it's Friday, payday, I'm immature and I couldn't resist.

Mine came today, a thing of beauty from the machining standpoint. A little heavier than I expected which is a good thing IMO. I'm still a month away from having it installed and hopefully can document it photographically.

Keep us posted We didn't want to make it paper thin. The stock steal ones if hit will bend but a thin aluminum will most likely crack, hence why we made a thicker but not much heavier the stock aluminum.

Does this pan use the 2012 Upgraded trans filter? I have a 2006 cls500 with the 722.9 and I'm starting to have a shutter starting out and also again in 3rd or 4th gear how can I fix this and or will this help
also how much for a raw pan for my application.

good on ya for searching and using an existing thread. Not sure if this pan is still available. Weistec has a pan that looks very similar. I think that’s what everyone uses. Maybe hit them up.

Some shady stuff went down at the vendor. They’re banned from MBW, website is down, haven’t posted on FB since 2017. They’re done.
Just get the Weistec pan.
