Yokohama Advan Sport Tread Wear?
Can I get some opinions on the tread pattern shown in this picture?
It is off a C63 I am looking at purchasing equipped with the 19" multispokes. I will ask for a tread depth reading from the seller but by my eye, it looks like much of the superficial tread pattern has been worn off and there is probably less than stellar useable life left. Am I being too harsh?
The vehicle is north of 14k miles and by my initial research, these appear to be the original rubber.

The way I look at it, no matter what you have on the back on our cars, you are going to have shortened rear tire life. Especially if you are beating on the cars.
When I was doing my research for tires, the Advan's were always highly regards. The tread pattern looks ok. But from the picture you posted, the car looks to have a bit of negative camber. Now this could be something from the factory if the car only has 14K on it and no mods.
To be safe I would ask to replace the rear tires. Or a price reduction in the car to compensate for new rear tires.
If im not mistaken, I do not believe any C63's came equipped standard with Advan tires.

Thanks for the help. My mistake, I thought the Yokohama Advans were the OEM tires supplied with the 19" multispokes. I have to confirm on the length these tires have been on the vehicle. I was honestly expecting to change tires every 10k for everyday driving and be pleasantly surprised if I could manage longer.

Is Yokohamas Advans & AVS Sport the same tires? If so, they do come standard with the OEM 19's from factory... that's what mine came with.
And yes, you will need new tires soon from that picture.

Black C63 507 Coupe
I had advan sports on my last car, they are amazing in terms of grip, but mine were ready for retirement at around 20k km. (car had 400hp, all four wheels)
Advan sports are almost worthless at 12k mi if you ask me.
