Beautiful. Have these been proven to add HP yet? Are there dyno charts between stock and these installed? The price is very appealing.

Does the CF succumb to heat and yellow over time?

Thanks for the kind words. We have been selling this intake for quite some time now and we have had a great response from MB World members who have purchased them.
We have not heard of any issues with CELs and K&N air filters with our AMG 55 and AMG 63 intakes.
If you have any questions please feel free to post them.

What about the yellowing issue? I have seen some (granted i dont know if they are your brand though), that have yellowed, and it looks..... well..... not so good.

I can bet they are only cosmetic, no real gain for what u pay. Bad return on investment unless u r going for show. U r better buying a tune if u want money well spent.

Just to answer some of the questions here:
Do we make these for the SLS?
Sorry but we do not. The SLS is a very limited production car and we could just not justify the tooling and R&D expense to make an intake for the SLS nor did we want to charge an exorbitant price to SLS owners to make the project feasible. Don't feel too bad you own a spectacular car at the end of the day.
Does the carbon change colour?
All carbon when exposed to heat changes colour a little bit. It is a general seasoning of the material that cannot be avoided nor does it look bad either. Look at any supercar with carbon in the engine bay and it will look a little different to what you see on an exterior trim piece. The change is very little indeed but it would wrong to say that it is not there. That said it seems like we are constantly living down a problem we had over 4 years ago where a small number of intakes had a problem causing them to drastically change in colour. To us this is ancient history and we have not had any such issues since. Customers can be confident of the same quality in the aftermarket parts as the ones our company supplies to the OEM.
Where are the dyno runs showing gains?
A dyno plot showing the gains averaged over multiple tests (eliminating outlying high and low scores) can be seen at a link on the bottom of: http://www.carbonio.com/performance/...airboxkit.html
Outside of that a search will show multiple posts where people share their drag strip experiences showing drops in ET's after installing our airboxes.

I wasn't bashing ur product, don't take my statement wrong. I was just stating all the infos I found searching from members who has this product. Maybe u can prove us wrong by showing us a dyno graph.
Edit: saw the dyno graph. I stand corrected.
It's a nice product, and at that new price it will sell better.

Looks absolutely awesome! You can count me in with a couple of queries, I will need it shipped to Perth in Western Australia, can you do? If so, please PM an indicative price. I already have an over the radiator CF intake which fits up to original system so am assuming no issues fitting your intake system, can you confirm please?
