Evosport phenolic heat spacers?

Anyone ever use a set of these on the car and actually see or measure any benefits?

Did you do a search in here?
I think I remember seeing an old thread about it.
Benefit are supposed to be for heat dissipation. Since evosport is not in business anymore I don't know if these are still available for sales

I just bought a similar set from sikky about a month ago. It helps because it removes metal on metal contact.

I read on another thread that owner sandwiched it between two stock gaskets? Did you do they same on install or simply removed stock to replace with the gasket?

No I haven't gone around to it yet and I'm not sure if I should do what he did. He also changed the screws to steal ones since they are stock aluminum

Just confirmed it has to be sandwiched now between two stock ones. Need to get 4 new ones. Not sure snout the screws. Most installs didn't say anything about changing them

Forum post here and seller reminded me about it. Guess it was on evosport instructions too. You can reuse stock ones so technically only two are needed but better to change all while your doing it.

The stock bolts are a 3 stage torque to yield. The bolts will need to be replaced. Not sure if the thicker spacer and extra gasket will require longer bolts or not.

Was hoping to install my renntech intake at the same time, but it's getting repaired. That will be installed next week, then il also hit the track.

Fitting intake spacers and weistec oil catch can.

So I picked up my car today. I installed the intake spacers. At the same time gave the inlet a manifold a good clean and removed all oils and carbon. I also fitted a weistec oil catch can and re set the ecu. So far I've only done about 40kms. Initially the car was very doughy and felt sluggish and as though it had lost power. How ever after driving it and the ecu adapting, well it now feel stronger then before how ever the *** dyno could be a placebo effect. I have only been able to go 1st 2nd and half of 3rd. It feels good though. Once I fit the renntech intake is will hit the track and hopefully the last dyno I had used.

Any of you guys have feedback on these spacers? Summer in Australia... surely it's known whether they make a difference or not?

I had them installed yesterday. Hard to say to be honest. Car has no hesitation as reported above. Basically they remove metal to metal contact from the IM and engine block. It's not a mod you would notice on a car with over 500 horsepower.

Thanks. So you're not doing before/after testing of your temps?

Anyone? RNS-11Z how do your temps look?

i have a set sitting underneath my desk waiting to be installed next time I get service done. I also want to get the proper bolts so they don't take it off and realize the old bolts wont work. Can someone tell me the type of bolts needed for this or can the old bolts be used? I understand with the extra gasket and these spacers, the factory bolts might be too short.
