Reasonable price to Sell C63c 507
I had the C63c 507 for a couple months. Love it, but really am considering an E63S now. I have 6k miles on the car. sticker was 82k, and am wondering what I could expect a trade in offer from MB to be? I was expecting 70k plus my tax transfer to new car. Does anyone think those numbers make sense?
I would private sale if they can't do at least that range.
thanks

70k probably isn't far off. I'd assume that in a private sale to be honest, maybe up to 72k in a private sale.
Dealer trader somewhere between 67-69k.
Also sort of depends on where you are located.

Private sell could net lower $70k up to 75 I guess depending how well taken care of the car is , color, options.... GL

OP are you already set on the E63S decision?
Personally, I'd drive the **** out of your 507 for another year or so and then do the deal. Get your commensurate value out of the car before taking the hit..

Or the facelift CLS63S.... OMG om nom nom nom
I'm with Larry. Drive yours for another year. The E63S will depreciate quicker than a 507 so by then the net loss wont be as great.

Buying new twice in such a short period of time is going to yield a MASSIVE hit with depreciation both ways.
Trying to find a used E63S in the future is far more palatable than buying new again now. I know what it's like to be fixated on something and obsess over it, but man oh man, this wont be pretty from a finance standpoint. Then again, if you have the coin, by all means....

Drive the 507 for a year. Then get a mint one year old E63s.
Do as you please with the $30,000 or so you just saved. Cos if you blow off the first years worth of depreciation on the 507 by selling it in just a couple months and then pick up an E63 and take the new car hit there, thats the kind of dosh you are talking about.
If those sort of dollars don't matter to you though, go ahead - just make sure you get the wagon and make sure you come by my place and let me take it for a spin. Ol buddy Ol pal
