Smile Window Tinting? OEM D1S Bulb Color?

Hey what's up guys? I'm new on here. I just bought a C63 AMG 09. I'm trying to figure out what's the best tinting film? Also what the color of the DS1 OEM bulb? 5000k? 6000K? 7000K?
Thanks

film depends on what you want
lots of people like madico windos, or llumar or huper optik

i prefered the look and heat reduction of the llumar ceramatrix myself, wasnt a fan of the color of wincos or huper

i'd search for pictures of the ones that you think might work and see for yourself.

D1S factory color is roughly 4700k... osram changed part numbers about 20x for the D1S bulbs(even inside the same model year) but the temp range stayed the same

you are exactly right about the OEM rating....Osram rates the color temperature of their D1S bulbs at 4300k, HOWEVER, Osram(as well as all of those other over achieving Germans) over-build and under-rate most of their products....the ACTUAL color output of the Osram bulbs is very close to 4700k. When you look at the lumen output rating 4300k is top of the list, but lumen output isnt the only factor. The human eye picks up the reflection of 4700k more clearly AND at longer range when compared to 4300k. I am a light junkie btw, i actually build my own 3800lm 6000k LEDs for all of my vehicles, this c63 included.

and i LOVE the quote in your signature, i crack up everytime that i see it
