Front license plate

I just put my plate half on my workbench and bent it by hand til it matched the mount (when i had that mount). I didnt like the idea of the screws being under that much tension.

I wish I could run around without a front plate. I have the tow hook mount. They won't let you on my military base if you don't have a front plate and your car is registered in VA.

I didn't want to drill holes either. The tow hook was not my cup of tea. I didn't feel right after a few months (still have it). I modified the bracket a little and mounted it lower with stainless ties.
I have raw DIY pics, but never posted.

That's what I'm thinking of doing, not worried so much about bending the plate, but about the carbon fiber frame that I'm waiting for (in the mail) , I don't want to molest that, supposedly it's made out of strong aluminum wrapped with a CF layer and topped with a clear coat.

I would first Recommend Sto n Sho. I have this for my Lotus. ZERO drilling and it removes in 2 seconds by a cotter pin under the bumper.

(example only, do not order)
I don't know if they have a model yet for our years, but they will make custom solutions if you give them measurements... I did so with the Lotus and now they have it on their site.

I cut a small V in my aluminum plate where I wanted it to bend.

MY plate finally arrived and so did my CF frames, , I went to a DIY store and got 4 10MM plastic spacers/bushings, (8mm would be the perfect size but I only could find 10) and some screws and went to work here's the results, not perfect but at least sturdy , the rear one on the other hand was simple and straight forward.
