No Coffee Cup On Dash C63
Hi Guys,
On a 2013 C63, will the driver alert coffee cup only appear when it detects a driver loosing concentration?
All others seem to have it on the dash when its switched on but on my C63, it never comes on even though I have activated in the instrument cluster.
cheers!

I have had my 507 for about a year now and the coffee cup has only activated once. I am not sure why. I was alert and paying attention. I suppose I had not been as active with the steering wheel since I was on a long stretch of highway.

Yeah, that is my traction control. I put a nice hot cup of coffee on the dash and it helps keep my concentration on driving very carefully.

I have a 2013 model (without the Driver Assist options). It can be activated in the Menu system, under Asst then Attention Assist, turn on or off with OK. I am not sure it does anything, other than invite smart **** comments from passengers

I thought driver assist was standard?

this was exactly my experience. I think it's timed, plus also tired to degree of steering wheel or throttle input (I may have been on cruise control). It was a long highway drive, and I was TOTALLY alert and every 1/2 or so it would bleep its moronic tone. I was mystified. Since then no long highway drives so haven't seen it. But it was useless from my perspective, as they were all false positive "driver dozing" situations.

'13 C63 sedan. Coffee cup is always displayed when feature is active. Never had it alert me though. Yet. This car tends to keep me awake. Imagine that.
