Wheel Locks for FORGESTARS???
Hi,
I just had a set of CF10's installed today, and I need to get a set of locks. The OEM locks will not work, so wondering if anyone else has been able to locate locks that will work? Any help would be most appreciated. I wanted to post a photo of the car, however when I upload it the image always gets snipped off at both ends. Any suggestions on how to properly upload an image without it being cut up?
Cheers

Thanks Mort. On another note, how do I upload an image to my posts? I have uploaded one several times, but the ends keep getting clipped off. I try resizing but it doesn't help. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Howie
P.S. I use Photoshop to do all of my photo editing.

Yeah try ACG. I bought mine (japanese wheel lock KICS) from Tal a while back.
I actually have them sitting around since I sold the CF10 and traded in my old sedan. Pm me if interested.

I PM'd you about the locks. Let me know price and color when you have a chance. I am interested.

Huchimo01,
Congrats on the new wheels
I went with Gorilla Lug Bolts and Locks for my 507 wheels when I had the refinished.
Also, did you install hub centric rings with your new wheels?

Hey JRHolt,
I actually purchased a set of locks and lugs used from another forum member. Should have them early next week. Already spoke with my powder coat buddy so they'll be fresh and pretty when I put them on the car.
I did not install the rings, and have not had any issues that caused me to require them. I spoke with Ace at Forgestar many times about the wheels and he never brought them up. I also spoke with Tal who also runs Forgestars on his C63 and he never mentioned by them either. I'll keep an eye out on them for sure. Thanks for the info.

I opened each NOx myself and didn't see the rings. I did notice the wheels snapped into position when they were installed. I noticed this and realized they were centered. I will contact Ace on Monday. Thanks for the heads up.

Yea as far as I know, Forgestar Wheels are NOT hub centric. If you purchased them from Forgestar, they should provide them free of charge. Post some pics when you get them finished

UPDATE on CF10 Wheels...
I just spoke with Ace at Forgestar and the CF10 wheels are actually hub centric. He said they sell so many of these wheels for the C63 that they decided to do that. Some CF10 wheels were shipped with rings at some point because they had ran out of the hub centric wheels, but these particular wheels do not require rings. Which is why mine centered fine even though some members thought I needed the rings. It's all good. No rings required on CF10 wheels.
