Do you guys use the Auto Transmission mode often?
I rarely ever drive in the auto mode unless I am warming it up. Downshifts are a bit rough when the car is cold.
In auto mode, I feel like the car is lugging itself and it annoys me lol. Everytime I turn on the car, I have to switch to manual mode. I do the same in the SLS as well.

I find myself in the Manual mode most of the time after warm of course, except when the wife is in the car then I tend to leave it in normal mode.

C for warm-up, daily driving, and highway trips. S+ and M for spirited drives.

C for traffic, commuting, daily driving...so probably 80%.
M for spirited driving, track, etc.
I never use S mode. Too jerky around town and doesn't do what I want when driving aggressively.

C for highway driving and S+ with some manual downshifting on two lane twisties. Rarely in M as it's up shift lag is too annoying.
These cars really need a DCT.

I usually drive in M or S+. I find it quite slow to go down 2-3 gears in M whereas S+ will go to the right gear instantly.
I always drive in M after I wash the car though. I just downshift to brake so my wheels stay a bit cleaner longer haha

Anybody notice that when the car isn't warmed up all the way the down shift in manual mode from 4 to 3 is a bit rough?

I think it depends what you are using the car for. This is my daily driver, so 80% of the time, I am in C auto. If I feel a bit frisky...lol...I switch to S mode.
I switch to M mode when I have to put some M3 or S4 in its place.
When I am driving the GT-R, I don't think I have EVER been on anything but paddle mode.
