Want to Buy - C63 Rims
Hi guys,
I recently had some extreme curb rash on the driver side of my 2009 c63. Front and rear wheels. And I am going to be purchasing replacements
I was wondering if anyone had them for sale here? Or maybe a set of different type of rim.
other parts I may need: tires, front driver side caliper in silver, gear shifter base, plastic spare holder in truck
And a working comand knob
Some of The latter items were damaged by the tow company 😳
Let me know. Thanks.
I'll also post some photos of the incident.

Well I'm ****ing impressed.
Whatever you hit, you hit hard. Give your car a good look over, the whole thing to include passenger side and get it up on a lift.

Holy crap! Extreme is an understatement. Those are not just damaged, they're totalled. Yeah I would double check your car. Hopefully you're ok too.

the car is probably totaled. did anyone look at the suspension damage? did the airbags go off? not sure 2 wheels and a new caliper will resolve all the issues showing in the pictures.

Thanks for your concern. I am completely fine. And the airbags did not deploy.
Surprisingly there's no damage to the body of the car. Cosmetically it's the same minus a nick and slight displacement of the sideskirt.
I hit a curb going maybe 40mph to avoid a cycler riding on the highway ramp at night. It was either hit the curb or the person. I chose the curb obviously.
It's at my local MB shop with a friend who's a tech. I hope there's no suspension damage.
I'll let you guys know what the damage is but from now I'm going to guess I need a control arm and two rims as well as some brake like work and maybe a new rotor. The rotors were put on last week unfortunately.
Thanks for your input

Why would a cyclist go on the highway. That absolutely makes me angry, let me guess, you're the one that will be paying for the damages to your car and purchasing new wheels. Did the cyclist bother to stop?

Mike - Im going to PM you regarding the rims.
C32 - No, the biker did not stop. Someone on the opposite ramp did though, and he gave me a ride to the nearest gas station. And yes, I do have to pay for all of this out of pocket.
Ill sum up what happened real quick.
So i slid into a field of grass and trees, about 100ft in. The car stopped right inbetween two trees luckily. So it was pretty hidden. I left for about a half hour to call MB Roadside for a tow, and also called the police to tell them someone was on the way to pick the car up. The operator told me they're already there, and they're towing it. They fined me saying the car was there for 72 hours.
The tow company Eckes employee Louis damaged my car, and did his job terribly.
I got back just in time to be able to see what was going on from a distance. The truck had the car lifted from the front and was driving away. They wouldnt wait for me. It was unbelievable how rushed this whole thing was.
As you guys know, the plastic spare holder in the trunk spins off. Well, this guy yanked it off and broke it. He tried to pry open the gear shifter with that looks like a screw driver, which damaged my center console, instead of properly getting to the manual neutral button by lifting the leather. I sincerely think he did not put the car in gear when he drove away. He claimed he dollied it, and so did the cops, but i watched it leave on its back wheels (and took photos). Not even a flat bed. Who knows how much damage this guy caused.
Later he claimed he dollied it further down the highway. But his excuse for NOT dollying was because he was on the highway??? Oh, not to mention. MB roadside sent this guy to tow it back to my dealership the next day. He yelled at me when i tried to ask him questions and left. His boss didnt act any differently.
The next day at the impound me and the next truck driver took the wheel off pretty easily after jacking up the car and put on the spare and properly towed it. He ended up delivering the car to a dealership 50 miles in the wrong direction.
These "professionals" we let handle our most prized possessions need to not act in haste, and even hatred. Who in their right mind treats someone else's car in that way?? Especially a C63!! I'm extremely pissed about all that happened this week.
My friend, and tech at MB is going to try to distinguish between the accident and the additional damage caused by the tow. I'll update with the estimate tomorrow.

It's only slightly noticeable....you should be fine . You should have just hit the person, only way for people to realize they are doing something wrong nowadays. Glad you are ok though Abs63. I would be pissed about the tow people, hope you follow up and hold them responsible for any damage done.

I have a set. I bought some 507 edition rims that should come in this week. My current set are running Continental extremecontact dws, 245 in the front and 275's in the back. Relatively new tires, but I can check the exact measurements when I get home. Where are you located?
