08 C63 Questions: Input Needed

08 C63 Questions: Input Needed
Hi fellow forum members,
Trust everyone is having a great weekend. We are in the market for a used vehicle and stumbled upon a C63 at the Mercedes dealership. The vehicle has 51K miles and has a complete service history at the dealership from day 1. They have just completed the service on it, replaced two rear tires, all 4 brakes were done at 43K miles. I did not see anything in the service records with regards to the purge valve or head bolt issue. It drives solid and I hear no engine ticking noise or any cabin creeks. A few quick questions for you as we decide to pursue it further:
Can fellow members who have owned the 08 C63 for a while please share any other issues that have popped up during their ownership?
Although the car is at a dealership with all service records does it still warrant a PPI at another dealership? Asking as we never purchased a pre-owned vehicle from a dealership.
If I was to encounter the purge valve or head bolt issue can some please share what sort of expense will I be looking at.
Is this year of the AMG a good one? We have owned multiple Mercedes in the past so understand the maintenance, just looking if this year with electrical or other major headaches.
Appreciate your input and hopefully we will proceed further with this vehicle.

I bought a 2008 C63 from a dealer 3 years ago. Only issue so far has been the condensate drains for the AC came out of the holes under the car and drained into the cabin soaking the carpet. I also had have the dealer reset the moon roof because it would not close on its own and the normal reset had no effect. Other than that, just the usual poor tire life.

I have not owned my 08 long enough to get a good feel on problems.
Bought mine in October last year with 88k miles. Currently has 96k miles. Recently replaced my rear tires and adjusted the alignment where the inside should not prematurely wear.
Rotary part of the COMAND knob has quit working and based off some random actions of my parking lights, I need to replace my head switch.
Based off the service history, head gaskets and bolts were replaced around 74k miles so I am good there

only problem I have with mine is the petrol consumption and insurance. i always want to drive it but as soon as I get stuck in Sydney traffic, i always wish i brought the CGI. 
other than that, its just a dream to drive. hope somebody with more experience could chime in. goodluck and post pics if you decide to go ahead with the purchase.
