thanks I guess I will. or you could have just said I don't know about the DIY fix and you'd better just go to the dealership and see what they can do, minus the Jesus part.

The DIY is to do the exact same thing the dealer will do. If you have the time, patience, materials and enjoy tinkering trying to figure out which areas are causing the squeak. Judging by your previous response though, I figured it would be less thinking involved if you just took it to the dealer. Didn't want to see a new thread "Broken 507 seat and cracked pano roof".

That's exactly what I needed to know, I should've known I have severely estimated the DIY difficulty when most people talked about were having that fixed by the dealership.

On noises, my pano roof now clicks and clacks all the time, I'm getting it fixed. Otherwise, it's a tight, tight car, it's going to make noises on bumpy roads.

Pano squeak update. I followed this thread for a bit since I have the squeak. Stopped by the dealer this week, they knew about the TSB and have done another coupe. But , my 2012 ran out of warranty 2 months ago , i thought my CPO extended warr (MB 6yr 120,000mi) was about the same coverage as the factory warr. Well not for squeaks, they denied a repair. I never complained about the squeak till this week after reading the post. I am at 45,000miles.
Any thoughts ? I can live with the squeak as long as the roof won't crack. My one and only dealer are thieves, I had Audi repair nightmares with them and learned from the "inside" they are not honest. So I have tried to avoid the shop. Have done oil & brakes myself. There are a couple dealers about 60-70 miles in another direction- one is AMG certified. Maybe I will call the other service desks......
