Price to own questions

Hey all I'm in the w204 forums mostly. I have a 2012 c300 4matic sport just wondering what is the cost of owning an AMG. I would like to get a 2012-2014 C64 AMG sedan in 2 years or so. Does it cost a lot to keep these beasts on the road? whats the yearly maintenance cost is it a ton more than a c300? I'd like to use it as a daily driver is it a good or bad idea to use it as a daily driver?

oh and price to own should be cost I was multitasking and I messed up haaaaaaa.

You should know then , here are some links that might help. There are tons more also if you search a bit.

Overall owning an AMG is not expensive, the mod bug is....also tires/gas but you will get used to that. I use mine as a daily driver and love it, nothing wrong with it at all. Long distance or short, highway or side-roads...once you have one, it's hard to not want to drive it every chance you get.

Out of pocket on my 2012 P31 has been nothing other than mods and a B service at the dealership. The car seems bullet proof. Having a warranty helps, though.

Be prepared to double your monthly fuel costs. Tires will only last 10,000 to 12,000 miles. It makes for one of the best daily drivers!

Well I owned a C300 for 2 years and probably was the least cost effective luxury vehicle I ever owned. I drove about 20k miles a year at the time.

Now I have a C63 and drive 65 miles a day just for work. I love it. It costs me about $100 a week in gas and probably a set of tires per year. BUT IT MAKES ME HAPPY! Bare in mind that I sell luxury/exotic cars for a living so i need something like this for daily driving

i know the warranty thing is good but what about after warranty how is it then? I usually drive my cars for 10+ years but i really want to trade in my car and jump up to the next level but if I get a 2012 its warranty is expired this year and then it just has the basic engine and transmission warranty until 2018.

My service adviser tells me that the tranny and engine mounts go fairly often at around 40k miles. Mine were toast at 32k miles. The parts themselves are cheap, but the labor is a little demanding. Other than that, and an occasional 02 sensor, these things are pretty reliable. Oh, i'll beat the drum... Tires, gas, gas, gas, gas, tires.
