Can anyone confirm the actual maximum throttle plate angle for the C63?
I've read a lot of arbitrary numbers, some stating 50 percent, others 62 percent, still others 75 and 80 percent.
Has anyone confirmed this with any sort of certainty? My money's on 77 percent right now, but I won't be able to confirm until the end of the week. I'm not sure anyone will know, but is this the primary method used to de-tune the M156 as used in this application?
Thanks in advance

Per Jeremy of OE tuning when I asked the same question: "Showing 87% TPS is actually 100% open. I have verified via a camera I have placed in to monitor throttle position. This is the same among all Benzes"

Wait..... what'd he do, stick a scope down there with the car stationary in a garage? I'd think it'd be hard not to get a camera sucked in, but I guess there's always a way to rig it if you want. Interesting way to confirm...

I've not looked at a MB but have at others. It'd be tough to gage the percent open by sight unless there is are index marks.
How are you visually determining the actual position of the plate?
I have bore-scopes that can easily video or photo this but without some visual index I can't see being able to tell 75 from 70 or 80 percent (visually).
I realize the TPS provides feedback but I believe we are talking about visual verification. Correct ?
