My tranny has lasted almost 20,000km / 18 months with a Stage 2 and that includes a couple of dozen 1/4 mile passes.

In saying that it does feel like it slips at the top of 2nd and 3rd at WOT, but other than that no issues.

can you guys elaborate more on the tranny issue? why does it slip? thought the trans could handle the added power?

I'm still working on getting the heat exchanger bolted up. I'm running in to an issue because I have a Weistec catch can that sits right where the reservoir should. I want to do a trunk tank, but my funds are tapped. I have the bumper off and am working on a solution.

Also the heat exchanger is off of an ML so the mounting tabs are different making it a real *****, but I'll figure it out.

Damn, small world, Asher!

I have a 2012 BS, I just ordered the full exhaust/headers, intake, tune, tcu from Weistec. The work is being done at Imola...hopefully will be wrapped up next week. If that still isn't enough HP for me, i'll prolly slap the SC on there too!

Yup! I was thinking about doing a dyno before all the parts get in...but haven't decided on it.

The W211 E63 is actually one of the tighter engine compartments. We are very limited by space to add many components. If there is something we can further assist with, or if you have received something you think is wrong, please feel free to contact us so we can properly diagnose the issue for you. Thank you!

There is no easy answer unfortunately. I got a few a little pieces today. I ran home and mocked up the reservoir on the firewall and I don't think its going to work. It would look super hokey so I'm back to the drawing board.

Update

A quick update all parts are in!! Minus the trunk mount tank that looks as though UPS pulled a ace Ventura with the box and broke the pump mounting bracket inside the tank. But Weistec is sending out a new one and doing a claim to UPS. So the build starts tomorrow!! Hoping to finish it sometime between Saturday and Monday.
Will follow with pics of the build in the next few days!!

With Stage 2 power, the stock tranny is at the max. it can take.

Some people have been lucky (like myself) and have seen it last with a Stage 2 blow, some people have seen it last 2 weeks before it **** itself at Stage 2 power.

Even though my tranny has lasted a long time on Stage 2 power, at WOT, especially down the 1/4 mile I can feel it slip. Going down the 1/4 mile it slips at the top of 2nd and the top of 3rd gears.

Hope this helps.
