Dyno results from my tuned C63

I have the Eurocharged v5 tune on my 2009 C63 sedan and have always been curious how much it puts down. I finally had a chance to take it to the same shop that dyno tuned my supercharged Nissan 350z since I know their dyno is reasonable and in line with many others. Here is the graph and numbers. I wanted to also do a stock run to see the actual gains from the tune but I never put my stock file on the MyGenius device so I only had the tuned file there and couldn't switch back to stock while I was on the dyno. Oh well. This is on 91 octane. Everything else stock, including air filters.

The torque curve is not one I am used to since I've always owned highly boosted cars where the torque keeps climbing all the way to redline. It is very smooth though and you have torque throughout the range. I just wish it was a bit more and didn't drop off so fast after aboug 5500 rpm.

Thanks for this. I sense this graph may be useful in other threads

Pretty good gains from just a tune or do you have other mods done?

It's not a stock file on the device. It's what was pulled when you married the device to the vehicle and what you sent to EC.

You should have an option for "Original" or something along those lines instead of trying to flash like you would by selecting a tune file.

About the same torque I achieved with my V5 tune, I got 10 more....
But my rwhp was 10 less....

It's just numbers... as long as the car pulls well... I am happy...

Nothing wrong with this one. Torque figures are what they are for NA engines. You might break the 400ft/lbs with headers.
Enjoy in good health

Nope, the only option I have is "tuned v5" or something like that. The original file I pulled with the same handheld device is nowhere on there for some reason.

It is possible to delete/remove the original file from the handheld. If you saved a copy when you originally emailed it to Eurocharged it should still be on your PC and you can reload it on to the handheld.

Your original should be embedded in the v5 though. AFAIK it's what the tune is based on so I don't think it can be missing.

You don't see a screen like this? If you select modified it will have a list of tune files. If you select original it goes back to OEM.

I have not uploaded my tune yet but it is on the handheld and the only tune I have to work with that I can see. I do not have the File Menu you show and cannot see my original tune either. I do have it on my PC and it is some where in the handheld because I just downloaded it to my PC again. Maybe because I have not loaded my tune file yet?

Nice numbers. I bet it must feel a lot nicer to drive after the tune. Urgh, if only my big fat car would gain 50 or so hp from a simple tune...

I thought each tune file has your original tune embedded within it so as soon as you flash the tune you can go back to the original at any time.

Here's what mine looks like. I have the V4 (MYGFile0.mod) and V5 (MYGFile1.mod) on the handheld.

What dyno was used? Was it the dyno'd on "rollers," or were the wheels taken off?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say it was on a DYNOJET at Z Car Garage - 140 Archer St San Jose, CA 95112 - 408-452-0350.

I would call to confirm though, it was just a guess...

Easy question. Rolling dyno or was the rear wheel removed?

I agree. I ended up changing tunes to solve this issue.
