For Sale: Hoosier drag radials mounted on black Enkei wheels. Almost New
Bought these last spring for a grudge match with a 700whp TT 350z. Beat him then sold my W204 for my W205 and these won't fit that.
275 Hoosiers on lightweight 17" Enkei wheels. Paid $905.00 will sell for $550.00

How much usage on the tires? Any rub with that setup? Any modifications needed to brake pads or caliper to fit 17s?

No rub, no mods to brakes. There is about 1mm of clearance to the top of the brake pad which worked fine for me but it's easy to grind those down if you're uncomfortable with it. Tires are almost new, I can get you a better picture later tonight if needed

Looks like Illinois based on the plates.
I'm picturing those wheels with a nice fat street tire as well. Perfect pickup here for those looking to shave a few tenths at the track

Yes thread is 2 yrs old, but I just found. This is exactly the drag set up I need. I cannot find Enkie 17x8x45 anywhere. Where did you buy ? Model name ? Did you have to do anything to make 17x8x45 work? spacers etc ?
thanks
awesome . I'm ill I missed this deal.

Thanks. Their site blows. I entered a search for wheels for 2012 C 63 AMG coupe and it showed only 5, 19s ! All boat anchors. Has the gangsta look taken precedence over performance ?!

It's actually because it is not listed for a C63, I had to search under C350 back when I bought this set originally because technically a 17 should not fit on a C63

here is the thing there are a lot of guys that run the 275 on an 8 inch rim. They don't have any issues. However when you read what the minimum recommended wheel width should be for a 275 it says a 9 inch width. That's why for my drag setup I went with a 9 inch width. I felt better about trusting the tire manufacturer over you should be fine.
