Will hopefully have them fitted towards the end of July. Going to fit bigger throttle bodies first and send my ecu to kleemann for their tune. Car is at...465hp crank! Issue points to the throttle bodies not opening fully. We're not sure if it's an issue with the stock units, or a part of the map that eurocharged aren't sure of where to amend, so it's probably best to just get the kleemann tune and see what it can do. My friends car with the cams has an extremely potent 5000-7000rpm power band.

Have any of you guys with headers actually watched the installation or installed the headers yourself.
I was having a good look in the engine bay and it is seriously tight in there.
I cannot see you fitting the LTH from the top, as the heads are in the way, and there doesn't look to be much space coming in from below either.

Do a search. They are a ****ing pain in the *** to do. Can only do it from underneath. Some are worse than others. MBH have very large primaries which makes it even more difficult. Others such as AR/MHP are easier because they're smaller. Many of us have installed headers and posted about our experiences if you just do a search.

Thanks for answering Blkrokt. It's all pushed in from the bottom. I was pretty sure that was the only way, but it does look damn tight.

And I did do a search. I could find a ton of posts asking about which headers are best etc. But didn't find anything on fitting them.
Edit. I did find one post in the sticky with pictures. But it didn't fully address my question.

This is my MBH LTH install. See post 147-148. It is not a DIY but lots of pics and some info.

It really is an extremely tight fight in there.

Yeah I got quoted approx £500GBP for the install...certainly not cheap.
Power gains make it thoroughly worthwhile though I suppose.

We seem to be really struggling with DPE. They just don't get back to us. We have asked numerous times for shipping dimensions, but have received nothing. Looks like i may need to go another route.
In the meantime, i am thinking of unbolting the primary cats from the stock manifold, and making a 76mm downpipe, then an H-Pipe in place of the secondary cats, and an X-pipe in place of the resonators.
Anybody done anything like this before?
