Smaller diameter steering wheel?

I don't know what it is about this wheel but I feel like I'm driving a bus. Does anyone make an aftermarket wheel that has a smaller diameter?

Thanks!

TC

Really? I love the C63 wheel... Can you post a picture? I'm thinking someone may have replaced your wheel with a non-amg wheel which looks similar but is actually way bigger.

Yeah, the stock wheel is kinda small already.
What kind of cars are you accustomed to driving?

F1 cars apparently.

Lol just kidding, but I love the size of our stock wheel, not too small, but feels great. I hate driving other cars, makes the wheels on those feel like buses for sure.

Agree with others here. Stock C63 wheel made the steering wheel in my Audi feel like much bigger in diameter, like that of a school bus. I started feeling that more and more so I swapped out the steering wheel in my Audi few days ago

This is too dark. I'll post a better pic in the morning. I'm used to a 996 wheel.

Maybe I just need to change my seating position.

TC

P.S.--And, not that it's any business of yours but I believe my hands are of average size.

Wow, the FL cars don't really have a flat bottom do they?

Are the Pre-fl steering wheels smaller than the FL steering wheels?

Anyone that's driven both, can you provide some insight. From pictures, it looks like the pre-fl wheels look smaller with their flat bottom. I want to upgrade to the FL, but not at the cost of a larger wheel.

I like the stock wheel for street driving but the rim is too (the 12 year old me is trying to choose my words carefully) thick for me to grip while wearing gloves at the track (nope. it still sounds funny in my head).

My P31 FL steering wheel is flat on both the top and bottom.

I just want to make sure my upgrade is indeed an upgrade to a facelift wheel.

Also, might I add, facelift driver wheel airbags do not seem to be affected by the recall.

Did you cover your stock driver airbag in leather? Or did you swap it in from another model?

Bought a leather airbag cover. It was OE on some cars. They're all over eBay.

Got a link to the seller? I looked and not finding any covers on ebay that are leather, only full airbags.

2013 FL stock wheel 14.75 dia across the centre arms with flat bottom.
How much smaller do you want? 12"?
Remember even with PS you still have to operate the lever that is the wheel so by going smaller you will need more steering muscle from you.

Used to be a ton. Keep checking occasionally under "W204 leather airbag cover". When I bought mine, 20 or so came on the market all at the same time. Was only $125 from seller "evolution-gt", and all were listed with blemishes and detailed photos, but you can't see mine. Item # 161625112284 so you know what to look for.
