P2111 - Stuck Throttle Actuator with an Odd outcome
Hey All, first time posting here. Recently picked up a 2011 C63 (post-headbolt issues). Was driving down the road the other day and it suddenly went into limp mode. Limped home, throttle codes for a stuck actuator. I figured the worst in that one of the throttles had failed or perhaps something with the manifold.
So, that appears to be a rubber band stuck in one of my throttle bodies. No idea where it came from or how it got there. Car didn't seem to show any signs that the manifold was previously removed, all the stock clamps / ties were there. Definitely odd. Will be putting it back together and hopefully everything is alright now.

Factory build as far as I know. Just recently picked the car up, so who knows what someone did in the past or how that got there.
She's all back together now and running great.

Was definitely strange. Figured I would post it up in the odd event that someone throws the same code. The possibility of a foreign object jammed in the throttle can cause it apparently.

We did headbolts on a car, fired it up and it went into limp mode on test drive just like this. I was a bit worried to be honest lol. Pulled the codes and hooked it up to the laptop to test the throttles and one was not closing completely.. we took it off and found a piece of the air filter in it, just like this... Trippy how it happened right after we did the headbolt switch.
