Hey folks - first time posting in a few years..have been enjoying my '08 c63 for several years now (brought the car with me from DC to Dubai)...it's holding up very well in the climate here.

For the last few months, only when the car has been in city driving, when first releasing the brake pedal from a dead stop (for example at a light), the car shakes quite noticeably (can feel it in the seat), almost like a misfire or similar to ABS pulsations...

Independent shop here (silver arrows) thought it may be the torque converter..car was due for a tranny flush anyways so they did it and said the fluid was dark and had metal filings.

Just want to see if others have had this symptom, and if so, what it turned out to be.

I haven't had this experience, but I'm curious if the flush solve your problem.

I've heard/read about slight shaking in the MCT transmissions (which is apparently normal, within reason and the nature of the tranny itself), but I can't comment on the 08-11 trannys.

Let us know what you find out ...

Good to see another member from Dubai around here, I also have some slight shaking in my car but its only when its idling, not sure if its the same shake your having. I brought my car with me from Canada also, I doubt that has anything to do with it.
