There are no photos of how to place the silicone. Many people write that it is necessary to smear heat-resistant silicone and sticking double-sided tape. Maybe someone have detailed pictures? I'll be very grateful!

When I replaced my factory ones with the Mode carbon fiber ones I simply laid a very small bead of high temp silicone around the entire lip. FYI, I applied the silicone to the lip opening on the hood not the snap in vent itself There is really just one place to put it, it's pretty much a no brainer.

Dude. It's really not hard to figure out. Did you read the post from just a couple days ago where the process is described with pictures? Ascertain where the vents touch the hood and then attach adhesive there or use silicone. Maybe take it to a shop?

+1

I had mine done at a shop. They used double sided tape and high temp silicone and it's been perfect for nearly a year now. The shop did it for free since I'm a valued customer
