funny story - mom drives my C63
So im on vacation for a month in Germany, and I left my car at my parents condo instead of my house because i flew out of the city they live in.
So my mom calls me a couple days ago and says that she had to move the car and she fired it up in the underground parking garage and scared the crap out of some people and it was the most fun she had all week. (Cold Start+ underground + Headers - Cats = Loud)
fast forward to today
i asked her if she could maybe drive the car once or twice a week "to clear the cobwebs" and make sure the battery wasnt draining etc
she calls me a few hours later
she says "does this thing have a speed limiter?"
i replied, "no, why how fast were you going?"
"About 270 or so" (Km/H)
i just start laughing, she said she was driving to a piece of property they have out of town and was on an empty highway and decided to give it the beans.
she goes on and on about how much she loves the car and how much fun she had driving it and how she liked the noise it made. she said she took it to my Uncles house who has a Shelby GT500 and said his sounds like a school bus compared to mine.
keep in mind this is a 47 year old woman.
now she is asking me about buying an E63 AMG Wagon and if its possible to make it sound like my car

47? What's she doing driving, she should be in some sort of old folks home. Do they even allow the elderly to have driving licenses up there? Savages.

They didn't have many M156's around though. Just one on a stand in the engine dyno room.

lol I wish my experience was the same as yours. My mom always nagged me about buying cars that are manual and cars she can't drive. She likes smaller cars... so I figured get a badass small car. Bought the car, gave her a key. She drove it... once. Complained about gas, it's too loud, why does it do that. Mind you this was all stock. So I got stuck with the car... haha

EPIC mom !
Mine comes once every two years to visit me (different continents), the tradition is that she gets to try whichever car I own at that moment...
3 years ago she tried launch control on my 135i... Got her scared a little haha
Last year she got to try the C63, but because of various reasons it was in the twisty mountain roads.... I also have a video but I was so scared in the passenger seat that I didn't dare put it online haha
Thumbs up to your mom doing 270

57 years and driving a C63. That's crazy yoh. My mother (49) drove mine as well (CLK55) and she told me she likes the sound of the car and that it goes so fast from launch.
OP good on you man for letting your mom own your cab
