While my c63 was getting a blown speaker replaced.
Sticker on the car was $54k and I really disliked it in almost every way, really glad I have a W204 - I am sure the new C63 is awesome power wise with the new engine, but the new interior is just wrong in every way and exterior styling is less than the W204 in my book.
Overall, the little turbo 4 had decent power but felt very unrefined and the noises it made where not good noises. Car makes lots of bing and bonging noises and some of them are unpleasant sounds as stupid as that sounds.
Hate the new controller with the touch part and the knob and the stupid gearshift on the steering column. No memory presets for the radio that I could find which would make me crazy, lots of up down toggle switches including for temp which is much worse than having a knob to rotate. Chassis overly firmly over bumps while also feeling a bit floaty and steering was very light with little feel unless you had it in sport+ which was a little better (it had the Sport Package)
Overall, just a letdown in my book over the previous chassis and a steep price tag for something that wasn't much better than a 30k honda accord.

2010 C300 4MATIC........ 2011 C63 AMG.............. 2015 CLS400 4MATIC.....
IMO:
C300
W204 > W205 exterior
W205 > W204 interior furnishings
W204 > W205 Sound (Eng/Exh)
W204 > W205 Noise interior
W204 > W205 Engine Size
W205 > W204 'HP after turbo' & Fuel Efficiency
W204 > W205 Tranny
IK I might look biased, but I definitely prefer w204.
Was the c300 2015 or 2016? 2015 is worse in terms of quality too than 2016.
Also, some of those things are in all new gen Benz's.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I feel your pain. I rented one for a week in CA a few months ago. Horrific car.

Overall W204 > W205 for sure - it will be a good generation to skip!

Amen. The CLA 250 feels the same way. Was a recent loaner. The fancy tranny twig has got to be the worst part. Unfortunately, that's the future of cars.
