Looking to purchase a W204 C63...anyone selling?
Hi guys,
I'm currently seriously looking for a W204 facelifted (2012-14) C63 (preferably sedan, but coupe isn't a deal breaker) in the Maryland / DC area.
Based on your guys experience, is it realistic to find a '12-'14 C63 with no more than ~40k miles, for under $40k?
Also, do you guys know of anyone selling theirs on the forums / if they happen to be near me?
Thanks in advance!

Dealer had mine for a while and had not sold it so got a pretty good deal on it (back in August)
2013, pretty much everything on it except distronic and P31. 39K miles excellent condition, LSD, Nav, Lighting package, Multimedia Package, Lane Tracking Package, Keyless GO and Obsidian Black. Came with 1 year Factory warranty and 1 more year CPO warranty.
Paid 40K, so what you are looking for can be done, certainly I have seen 12's with not many options for in the 35-37k range also - LSD cars are hard to fine (I got lucky) and P31 cars are out of your price range (but 700 bucks and a flash and you will have more power and you won't have to deal with the overly expensive 2 piece rotors).

I bought mine May 2016 from dealer for 42k. It was 2012 C63 coupe, p31 package fully loaded minus the LSD but wasn't a deal breaker. When I ran KBB for the value of the car at that time, it was worth 45k-50k but I think the dealer messed up pricing it as a base c63. So it was a steal

Also, no need for p31, stock has more than enough power. I just like the red brakes which I can paint

honestly, do you think the lsd is necessary? We do get some bad weather here from time to time. I was lurking on the forums a while ago and people kept debating on whether it helped or not.

It's a pretty high performing car, and if you're going to use it as such, an LSD is unquestionably essential.
A 450+ hp engine with an open diff will light up one tire any chance it gets to around a corner. Then traction control will kick on, cut the power, etc etc etc. Yuck.

LSD shouldn't be a limiting factor in purchasing the car just because it's an easy aftermarket installation, with arguably better LSD options out there.
In other words, if you find the right car with all the options except the LSD, dont let it stop the sale.

To answer your question, it is definitely possible. I was in the market recently for a 2012+ (FL) c63 a month ago after I decided this was the car I wanted to get into. I almost pulled the trigger on a 2014 asking 42k with 18k miles, decent options and performance package according to dealer details. (not sure if p31 but it did have red brake calipers). I ended up exceeding my original budget of $40-45k because I found a super low miles one. Both of these vehicles were near the east coast and I'm from cali.
If I were to have bought local, my selection would have been drastically reduced/monopolized prices. (This is a c63 Amg, not a dime a dozen m3). I searched nationwide because shipping would cost about 1-1.5k and that's not too much considering the amount of money you can save by shopping nationwide.
Ended up shipping a car out from Texas to California.
good luck!
