C63 Start Up Smoke
Hi guys
Apologies if its been discussed before...
I have a 2011 C63 P31, on the very odd occasion it gives a very big puff of white smoke on start up, then it's perfectly fine.
No weird noises, no weird idle, just a big puff of smoke.
Any idea what to look out for?

There are a lot of threads like this if you search around, seems white smoke may be a bit common on these, white is water, stand behind the car and have someone start it for you, if it smells sweet it is coolant, if it doesn't it is just some condensation and is probably normal.
If it is sweet then coolant and could be the headgasket leaking, also you should check for the headbolt issue.
Post your VIN in this thread and see if it is part of the headbolt issue range and an early warning

Common, most do it occasionally, including mine and it has been for 3 + years.
Sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along to tell you why exactly it does it, but seems nothing to worry about I was told

Checked for the headbolt issue, and my car is fine.
Ok cool, so nothing to worry about then? That's a relief
