Widest tire fitment on CL 500 (W215)

Looking to upgrade my tires with wider ones. Currently have 20" Wheels 8.5 Front/10 back
Falken 245, 35z r20D 95W (Front) & 275, 30z r20 97Y (back)

Does anyone know the widest tire set up the car can handle without rubbing (car is not currently lowered)

255's on the front and 305's on the back.

right now i have 255/45/18 in the front and back and in the front you can hear it touch the car if you do complete turn in ur steering wheel.

What is your size offset of the front wheels?

Your new tires are taller than the factory tires. That's problem number one. Your second problem is that on a 8.5" wide wheel, the 255 is going to be too bulgy. Then you add in the offsets (which I don't know) and you have rubbing issues.
