2000-2006 cl 500 (shifter problem)

my cl500 was becoming harder and harder to take out of park so i thought that i should fix the problem before it got stuck in park. When i took the shifter apart there seems that their is nothing wrong with it and that the plastic piece is fine. I can not get a closer look as it is being held by a rivet. What do i do please HELPPPPPPPPP,,,,,,,, could the solenoid cause this ?? part number?? help

not sure about our cl's but in most mfg a tranny flush and new fluid fixes this. Mercerdes states it is lifetime fluid..nothing is lifetime..Lifetime to them is 100k..do you notice it more when it is parked on a hill or on level road?

About 4 posts up you will see what is wrong. The plastic is broken and it must be replaced to get it out of gear
