Mileage limit for sagging ABC
#26
thanks for update. did the dealer, or your indie rebuild the valve blocks and what did they charge you? there are many threads on the trunk not opening. probably need to refill the hydraulic pump in the trunk under the battery i believe. keep us posted on the sagging and abc system.

Cheers Biker.
Yeah it cost me £480 in total for ABC related work. He doesn't run a garage or anything, he was a friend of a friend who used to be a mechanic and happens to love the w215 model.

Ah honestly mate, I'd rather be in Florida than England! If given the opportunity to live in the US, I would not hesitate and CLs just look better there! I don't know if it is cause of the numberplate shape or what, maybe it is the amount of sunshine you have compared to us haha.
This morning I got in my car to see the message; Stop ABC too low.
I just hit the ABC button, let it raise and it was fine, but clearly I'm not out of the water yet

did you check your fluid again. you said you were low before and you find some fluid on the ground. i think that's your problem. did the guy check your abc system with a star?

Yeah he did cause he used it for the rodeo. Since I last posted, I've checked my tyre pressures and since then it hasn't flagged anything on the computer, although saying that it hasn't moaned about the ABC at all. I would say sometimes it looks like the rear left is sagging but nothing more than that.
I appreciate all your help. I will keep posting with my findings over the next few weeks, but I think it is holding up well otherwise.
I love the button that raises and lowers the car. People just don't expect it hahaa.

Can incorrect tyres cause the ABC to sag?
I've only recently just found out someone has put run flats on the original 18" AMG rims!! I'm in the process of getting them changed now...
Considering how smoothly it drove with the run flats, I'm really looking forward to all 4 changed...

Valve blocks only. Yeah, should have got the O-rings changed...
It has been generally good. On an occasion I will look out the window to see the left rear corner has dropped a bit, but usually it sits well. I haven't seen any messages on my dashboard since.
