Factory Bose amp location
Hey friends,
Sorry to ask this question here but I tried in the audio/telecommunication forum but got no where.
Does anyone know where the factory Bose amp is located in my 06 cl600. Any help would be appreciated and again forgive the question in this forum.
Thanks.

Quick follow up, does anyone have and or know the speaker color code schematic of the factory amp? Which colored speaker wire goes to what speaker?

I don't know what your problem (you haven't posted it) is but my back speakers in my doors needed to be replaced, first I checked the door harness, then replaced the amp, then figured it was the speakers them self's

What I am asking and looking for is the wiring diagram, schematic, etc. that has the wiring labeled coming out of the Bose factory amp showing what speaker wire is to what speaker and the color code that it is..
Does anyone know this info or a site I can go to and get this info.
All help pointing me in the right direction is appreciated.

Here you go. Not sure of years covered, but this worked for my 2003. Unlikely they changed for 2006.
The diagram doesn't show it, but there are resistors/high-pass-filters in the wiring for the tweeters, near the speaker itself. Small, inline with speaker wire, covered with sheath, not noticeable many times.

The schematic diagram is a bit to technically vague for me, so can you tell me what the sub woofer positive speaker wire color code is and the negative speaker wire color code coming out of the factory amp.
I need to splice in to the wires at the amp because I can't get to the sub speaker wires at the sub speaker.
Just wanting to Add subs and sub amp by using scosche LC2i line level converter.

Thanks for your help but the schematic that is shown is a bit confusing as far as knowing what speaker wire is going to what speaker.
I am looking for the sub speaker wires coming out of the amp from the harness. I need to know the negative sub speaker wire and the color of it and the positive sub speaker wire and its color. I am adding subs and amp using the audio control LC2i line converter so I have to splice in to the wires at the amp because I can't get to the wires at the sub speaker itself.

This post states "On my car, the wires that came from the Bose amp and went to the sub were brown and a brown with a baby blue stripe"

It seems the 06 has different color wires for sub. The wires connected to the sub is gray and gray with red strip but it is not the same at the amp. Looks like the wires change at some junction point most likely branches off in some way.
There are brown wires coming out from the amp but no brown with blue strip or baby blue strip.
If there is anyone who knows the wires coming out of the amp that for the sub on 06 please let me know..
