Error 1458
I myself drives a w209 and I am asking these questions for my friend who owns a 2003 CL500.
Starting a few days ago, there is no air coming from the interior vents. Fault code is Error 1458. I googled and the description is "Right footwell flap actuator motor". Not sure what this means, any help is appreciated.

If there's no blower activity, i'd start there. If you can hear it but don't get air coming out the vents, then as mentioned above you have a blend door issue and i'd get ready to pull the dash out if a reset doesn't fix it.
If the blower isn't working at all, start with a resistor, they fail often enough. I'd replace both if you're gonna be in the area, often times the motor is failing and it overheats and burns out the resistor, so just replacing one part doesn't get you back 100%.

For my W209, both the servo and the flap failed and unfortunately, in 2 different occasions. This means that the the indie had to remove the whole dash twice.
How about the CL? Does the dash have to be removed to get to the blower and the resister?
