Looking at 2007 CL
Found a Silver CL for 23k. It has 65k Miles and wondering what I should be looking for. Do you think the chances of finding one for this price that is running perfect is slim?
Thanks,

Your original question what to look for? Extended warranty.
My advice, run away. As beautiful as the car is, kinda expensive to maintain (don't know your $$$, so ...)

Maybe go to a Mercedes dealership and have them download it's service history to get a clue if it's had problems in the past worth noting.
Could be some old man bought it in '07.........had health problems and never drove it much at all. We can all dream, can't we.

Verify that transmission service was preformed at about 40,000 miles. If this was NOT done, there is the potential for a very expensive transmission repair in the future.
Check the condition of the tires. A set of 4 can easily cost over $1500.
Take the car up to speed on a freeway and verify absolutely no steering wheel vibration. This can be caused by damaged wheel rims which can easily cost over $1K per wheel.
Potential expensive repairs I have experienced--
If the vehicle has drive dynamic seats (seats with air bladders for adjustability and massage), the bladders will eventually fail and can cost over $5K to repair. Mine failed in both front seats about one month before the expiration of my extended warranty.
Failure of electronic module for steering wheel switches was about a $1k repair.

mine is now having both seat air blatters replaced under this warranty!! this one repair is 75% the cost of the whole 3 yr warranty!! get it!
I probably overpaid (like I do on everything) negotiation is NOT my forte'
but this is the nicest car I ever owned and as the say.. "pay to play" maintenance is a fraction of my old GT-R!! lol both in cost and frequency ($80 qt trans fluid x10 plus labor) 5K break jobs, $225 oil changes, yearly allignments, $$$
