Price for used 2008 CL63 AMG?
Hey everyone,
I am new to the forum and trying to sell a Mercedes for the first time so I figured I would see what all of those on here with any kind of experience with Mercedes thought a 2008 CL63 AMG with 63,300 miles would be worth? The car is fully loaded, but is not any kind of special edition other than an AMG performance package. The car just received new tires and brakes 1000 miles ago. The car has spent its life in southern California and has always been garage kept. The car honestly looks brand new still! I will try to get some photos posted up later. If there are any additional details that are needed for you all to evaluate it, I can certainly post those up. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thank you

From the hip, it's probably $32-39k. Maybe more if it's really pristine or has something special you like about it (Designo, CF interior, Performance package(wheels really), etc.)

Thanks Andy0331. Out of the packages you listed, it only has the performance package and the regular 5 spoke wheels. No carbon fiber.

Go one edmunds true market value type in the year make and model it says 28-32k maybe a bit more or less depending on color and miles ( that was in the best area BH CA) regions make a huge difference and black is a deduction. Remember they are asking prices remember asking and getting are very different. I have a Manheim auction account and they wholesale for low to mid 20's. Some dealers will sell because they didn't buy them incorrectly. Other's have given to much money for the car and if they can afford to take the loss they will. The market on these cars are very soft. Being out of warranty and being possibly 8 years old, it's safe to say they are a very hard sell. You have to have deep pockets to own any CL this old. I see on the forum people are starting to mention issues. I would buy newer with low miles than older. Age plays just as much a factor as miles.

Thank you for all your research! I do find it tough to base a price off of wholesale pricing just because many dealerships put a stringent timeline on cars before they try to "offload" them. I did just sell a 2007 Jeep SRT8 with about 77,000 miles on it for $27,500. Do you not think a newer, with less miles CL63 would be worth quite a bit more? As I think I've mentioned, this car was purchased in and stayed in southern California with all wearable parts recently replaced. I am hoping to get high $30k/low $40k for it. I have posted a couple of photos below. I plan to post it in the classifieds section soon!

If it's a 2008 CL 600 and it checks all the boxes, meaning extremely low miles, has all the options, is the right color and is outstanding (meaning needing NOTHING but a *** to sit in the drivers seat). At tops the car is worth 33K, so if he is asking 50K he is dreaming and it will sit for as long as there is air to breathe.
