CL55 primary catalytic delete
Hello fellas. I need help figuring out the cause and effect of deleting my primary catalytic converters. I already have my secondary catalytics and resonator deleted. My main catalytic converter has gone bad and it's too expensive to replace it with OEM Catalytics so I'm thinking about deleting them completely. Will the car be too loud with prim cats/second cats/resonator deleted? will the check engine light come on or will the car performance hinder?

you will in deff get a CEL. you have o2 sensors after the down stream cats. and another at the up stream. If you live in a state where emissions doesn't count for passing then you're fine. and you will be significantly louder in the higher rpm range lol. i have secondary cat/res delete, stock mufflers and its nothing crazy low end of the rpm range.

Emission isnt a worry in my state But will the engine starting running leaner/richer (possibly of a fault o2 sensor reading) and causes the engine to shake?
